1Net to Owner is the income you receive after platform fees and taxes are collected. This is the money that hits your bank account from each booking.
2Platform Fee refers to the service fee charged by booking platforms like Airbnb and VRBO. This estimate uses 15.5%, which reflects Airbnb's host-only fee structure and is representative of the industry. The fee is deducted from the gross booking total before you are paid out.
3Taxes include Massachusetts state lodging tax and local occupancy taxes, totaling approximately 12.7%. These are collected from the guest at checkout and remitted by the platform on your behalf.
4Gross Revenue is the total amount the guest pays per booking, including your rental income, platform fees, and taxes. This is the "sticker price" a guest sees. The revenue band and chart above display gross figures so you can see the full picture of what your property generates.
