Who We Are

Meet Allie.

After spending a decade in financial services in New York, Allie O'Brien decided to channel her business acumen into her true passion: property design and hospitality.

A Massachusetts native, Allie has a deep familiarity with Cape Ann's coastal environment and the unique ways local homes showcase their surroundings, from elegant simplicity to the dynamic energy of bustling harbors.

Her mission is to design vacation experiences guests remember while helping homeowners optimize their investment returns. She partners with owners on rental performance, revenue optimization, and preserving the character of each home.

The Partnership

Meet Ryan.

Ryan Fortsch is an Owner and Operator of Rising Tide alongside Allie. A Massachusetts native who lives in Gloucester full time, Ryan spent 14 years in institutional investment management, most recently as a Managing Director at Blackstone, where he worked closely with Blackstone Real Estate, the largest real estate investor in the world. He is a CFA Charterholder.

At Rising Tide, that background shapes how he works with owners: disciplined pricing, clear reporting, and a focus on what actually drives returns. He and Allie work with every homeowner directly, bringing institutional discipline to a boutique operation in the community he calls home.
